How Horizon handles the information you share with us.

Who we are

Horizon (stayshorizon.in) offers four private stays in Udaipur, Rajasthan. This policy explains what personal information we receive through this website, WhatsApp, phone and email, and how we use it. You can reach us at +91 77375 70770 or im.kshitijtiwari@gmail.com.

What we collect

This website has no login and no database. The enquiry form on the Contact page does not store anything on our website: it only opens WhatsApp with your message filled in, and you choose whether to send it.

When you contact us we receive the details you choose to share, such as:

  • Your name, phone number and WhatsApp profile
  • Your email address, if you email us
  • Your travel dates, number of guests and the stay you are interested in
  • Anything else you write in your message

At check-in we may ask for a valid photo ID for each guest, as required by Indian law. For foreign nationals this includes passport and visa details, which we report to the authorities as required (Form C).

How we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and help you choose a stay
  • To confirm and manage your booking and check-in
  • To keep you and our homes safe, and to meet legal requirements
  • We do not sell your information and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to

Bookings made on Airbnb

If you book through Airbnb, Airbnb collects and processes your booking and payment details under its own privacy policy. We only see what Airbnb shares with hosts.

Third-party services on this website

Some parts of this website are loaded from other services, which may record your IP address and set their own cookies under their own policies:

  • Google Maps (location maps) and Google Fonts (text style)
  • Airbnb (property photos and booking links)
  • Wikimedia Commons (some sightseeing photos)
  • WhatsApp and Instagram, when you open them from our links

This website itself does not set cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking messages only as long as we need them to serve you, and guest ID records for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent. Write to im.kshitijtiwari@gmail.com and we will reply within a reasonable time.
